Introductions

Once again I will make the trip across the pond to the United Kingdom! If you know me, you know that I adore London and anything British. Let's be real. I watch BBC television. But who doesn't love Downton Abbey?? Hopefully one day I will live in London. Well, all the preparations are being made, aka I have been shopping. (My big purchase has been a Kindle--yeah!) I also bought pink pants because those are my new obsession. I also want mint colored pants.  But all this is besides the point. I am so blessed to be going on this trip.  So I'll be living in a flat in central London, taking classes and working. Part of the program allows us to do an internship. So, I will be interning at a grade school which is not terribly far from my flat. Ever since I found out my placement I have been stalking the website. It seems so great and I am so excited!  As for my class, I'm taking British Life and Culture, where we will listen to lectures about Britain and the Royal family, take tours, and go to the theater. As a part of the program we will be seeing Wicked and The Lion King. So excited. I also have every intention of seeing other performances. (War Horse, Jersey Boys, Rock of Ages)  This blog will serve as a part of my grade. And of course also a way for me to document my times. I will be blogging four (?) times a week, so make sure to check back often. I can't wait to share everything with ya'll!  Of course I will be sightseeing a ton and travelling. Be on the look-out for pictures of just about everything. So, yeah. I suppose that's all for now. Ah! So excited! I am mostly packed and organized. Oh my goodness. We leave tomorrow. Tomorrow! I hope ya'll like my blog and I don't bore you with my posts. I'll make sure to post some pictures of the city.
